Despite releasing back in September 2021, free-to-play game eFootball 2022 has finally launched its version 1.0.0 update, adding in new gameplay features and modes.
Season One kicks off today, alongside the new Dream Team mode, which allows players to purchase managers and players using in-game currency, and build their dream starting eleven. You can then take these teams online, and face off against other players around the world. Then, in a week’s time on 21st April, various in-game events for Season One will begin to become available, once players have had time to build their teams.
The actual game of football on the pitch has been much improved as well, with new stunning kicks, which allow players to pull off impressive shots, passes, and crosses, but at the risk of losing possession, since the wind-up time is longer. Defending has been overhauled as well to feel a lot more like classic PES, and in general, it just feels a lot nicer to play than it did at launch.
