It’s been a year and a half since the PlayStation 5 dropped and it’s still hard to get one. If you were one of the lucky few who managed to get your hands on the console — congratulations! But maybe your to-play list is looking a little light, and you would rather not break the bank loading up on great titles for your shiny new system. Lucky for you, Amazon has you covered — its video game selection is both expansive… and affordable. We’ve scoured the site for the best PS5 titles on sale this week, some as low as $15!
If you have Amazon Prime, you’ll get free shipping, of course. Not yet a member? No problem. You can sign up for your free 30-day trial here. (And by the way, those without Prime still get free shipping on orders of $25 or more.)
Deathloop
Are you a big fan of films like Groundhog Day and Palm Springs? You know, where the main character gets stuck living the same day over and over again until they get it right? Deathloop is like that too, except each day is an action-packed string of assassinations. Can you eliminate all eight targets before time is up? Or are you going to have do it again, learning from your mistakes? This was one of the best titles of 2021 and right now you can save $20 on it.
The reviews are glowing, too, with at least one player saying, “It’s a very different type of game with a lot of detail and unique mechanics. It’s takes a little time to get the hang of it, but once you do, it’s worth it! […] It caters to just about any play style, so whether you’re a guns-blazing type or a stealth and snipe player, or someone who likes to hack devices for a strategic ambush, you can. Highly recommend if you want to challenge yourself to learn something very unique and satisfying!”

Watch Dogs Legion
Do you get tired of the same old muscle-bound heroes in your games? In Watch Dogs Legion, you can play as anyone — and yes, I mean anyone. Whether it’s the cabbie driving down the street or the old woman waiting for the light to change, you can recruit anyone into your hacking group and explore their unique backstories and skills. This intriguing title is down to a super affordable $15 at Amazon, a huge 75 percent discount from its price in the PlayStation store.
Reviewers call this title “thoughtful, challenging but violent,” and another player says they haven’t even progressed very far in the story, because “the open world is so much fun on its own.”
Sounds like you’ll get a huge amount of fun for the money with this massive game!

Riders Republic
The Riders Republic is the ultimate playground for fans of extreme sports. BMX, snowboarding and even base jumping are here for your action-packed delight, traveling through gorgeous environments and collecting and wearing killer threads in the process. This is a pretty recent title, released just a few months ago, but it’s already on sale. Save $20 when you order a copy from Amazon and you’ll be exploring canyons and forests on your trusty bike in no time.

Lost Judgment
New in 2021, Lost Judgment is a detective story that will have you walking the streets of Tokyo and Yokohama to solve a murder mystery. Sneak around, get into fights and even track down hidden items with your trusty canine — this is a game that really lets you step into the shoes of a private detective. And even though it’s only three months old, this thrilling title is over 50 percent off at Amazon right now, only $30.
Reviews from players are good, with one calling it “the best game of 2021.” And, while this is technically a sequel (it’s part of the Yakuza game world), you can still enjoy it even if you never played the original, as one shopper says they “highly recommend this game for mature gamers. It has a great storyline and fun mini games as well. I haven’t played the first one and started on this one but will definitely get that as well.” If you love mysteries, this sounds like it’s right up your alley!

Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy
The Guardians of the Galaxy game takes everything you love about the hit movies — the goofy characters, the wild combat, and the classic tunes — and puts you in the cockpit. Fans of the GOTG comics will love the way the characters look like their on-page counterparts, while newcomers and vets alike will love the ability to make choices that affect the story.
This is one of the best games of 2021, and the five-star reviews on Amazon back that up. This player says it’s a “great narrative game, gameplay is amazing and if you want a challenge, put it on highest difficulty.” He adds, “the soundtrack is amazing and the [first] hour of the game is my favorite. I didn’t get to the main story till like 30 minutes in cause I was listening to the songs.” Sounds like it doubles as a jukebox, and you can snag it for 50 percent off at Amazon!

Just Dance 2022
If you’re looking for exercise, cool tunes and group fun, look no further than the Just Dance series. You’ll step, hop and bounce along to new and old hits from the likes of Taylor Swift, Justin Timberlake and Meghan Trainor. And once you’ve sweated through the 40 included tracks, you can sign up for Just Dance Unlimited for access to hundreds more songs, spanning genres from all over the world (and also from past games). The first month is free and you can cancel anytime. As for the game itself, it normally runs you $50, but right now it’s down to only $20 at Amazon.
This title has more than 4,000 five-star ratings on Amazon, including from parents and grandparents who call it “fun for the whole family and a good cardio workout” and “so much fun, even for my toddlers.”

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla
Vikings are cool, and we’re not just saying that because they live way up north! This epic title lets you live the life of a Norseman… or Norsewoman (you get to choose your gender). You can go on raids, fight vicious battles and experience a grand, sweeping saga in the Assassin’s Creed universe. But you don’t need to be familiar with the series to get started — in fact, this game is a great starting point for this immersive series, with a fun history lesson to boot!
Gamers certainly love it, with one shopper calling it “unique” because you have a raven… and wear outfits resembling a Viking. “The game is very long, and I have spent a lot of time playing it.”

Hades
This indie hit title scored a whopping 4.9 out of 5 stars with Amazon reviewers — no wonder it’s won so many awards! This game places you into the shoes of Zagreus, son of the Greek god Hades. Zagreus just wants to get the heck out of the underworld, and it’s up to you to guide him through randomly generated levels with his trusty sword to hack and slash anyone who gets in his way.
You’ll die a lot, but that’s okay, as this player notes: “Each run you get just that bit more powerful and are able to progress a bit further each time…. What’s even more astounding is that the characters react to your failures and successes. It all feels incredibly organic and unscripted, which is impressive.” And one shopper calls it a “masterpiece” that “deserves every single award it has won” because it’s “the best game to exist in the last decade, bar none.”

Immortals Fenyx Rising
It’s been almost five years since The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild was released for the Nintendo Switch, and we have no idea when the sequel is coming. Luckily, there are games like Immortals Fenyx Rising to scratch your itch for an open immersive world and epic story. The PlayStation 5 version is just $15, a 76 percent discount!
One player loved the entire experience: “As a huge fan of Zelda games and Horizon Zero Dawn, this game had me hooked from the get-go. The open world map is huge and totally explorable. since you have the ability to climb and glide basically anywhere. There are tons of puzzles, too! I absolutely loved the gameplay and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a fun way to spend some rainy/gloomy days inside.”

Nickelodeon All Star Brawl
Licensed games like this don’t always have the best reputation, but this game managed to blow all expectations out of the water, along with inspiring a huge dose of nostalgia for kids raised on Nicktoons. Ren, Stimpy, SpongeBob, Aang and Korra — the gang’s all here, and ready to throw down in frantic, fast-paced combat. And you can snag this recent title at a decent discount too, 40 percent off at Amazon!
One grownup who bought it for the kids at her local YWCA says: “They all love it despite how different they are in experience levels in playing video games… It warms my heart watching them cooperatively play together and enjoy it. I really do recommend this game. It also helps that the characters are all popular and featured on Nickelodeon. The kids all know exactly who is who.”
