The leaked build of Rayman 4 first emerged on 4chan, which included the game’s source code and editor. Since then, footage from the incomplete build of the game has begun appearing on the social media. Brief snippets from the leaked project can be seen in the video below.

This is undoubtedly a major leak for the Rayman community, and modders will likely want to collaborate and finish the project. The source code and editor being included in the leaked build make the task easier for those willing to take up such an undertaking.
The leaked build of Rayman 4 was ultimately salvaged into Rayman: Raving Rabbids. The latter is a 2006 party video game developed and published by Ubisoft. The game is a spinoff of the Rayman series, featuring a total of 75 minigames. It was made available for the PlayStation 2, Wii, Xbox 360, Microsoft Windows, and mobile devices. A different version was also released for the Game Boy Advance, Nintendo DS, and other handheld devices. Plans for versions for the GameCube, Xbox, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation Portable were later shelved.
Rayman: Raving Rabbids features two different gameplay modes, namely Story mode and Score mode. In the Story mode, Rayman is imprisoned by the Rabbids for fifteen days. Rayman has to complete at least three trials each day, then one “boss trial” that may involve a first-person rail shooter with plungers or a racing game where the player controls a warthog and rides on a flyswatter. Trials that are successfully completed reward Rayman with a variety of outfits and corresponding tunes, such as Gangsta, Raymaninho (a combination of the name of the main character and footballer Ronaldinho), Disco, Gothic, Caramba, Rock’n’Roll, Granny, DeeJay, and Bunny.
