It’s a new month for Game Pass and there are new games. But the offerings are noticeably thin for this half of the month, isn’t it?
Of the six games on that header image, only three are totally new to Game Pass. And they are big hitters. Two more games from Japanese devs, as promised back in last year’s Tokyo Game Show, arrived on Game Pass by way of Guilty Gear Strive and Ni No Kuni II.
And the other, Civilization VI, is a surprise given how the CEO of 2K, the publisher of the game, have been rather sceptical about Game Pass. But hey, more folks can now hit the next turn button 200 times and realised all the exploring, expanding, exploiting and exterminating has sped up time by a couple of hours. Civ VI continues to receive new paid DLC, but a new one is in the works.
Of course, the announcement list here doesn’t include Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, a big day-1 on Game Pass game released this month- it was featured in the last month.
