It seems like the monsters from the popular Monster Hunter series only get more challenging over time, and spoiler alert, that’s because they do. But even High Rank isn’t the highest rank, as Monster Hunter Rise Master Rank quests are the real challenges for the best hunters to take on. But is Monster Hunter Rise Master Rank on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S?
There are plenty of challenges in the game, regardless of Master Rank, as High Rank will be difficult for both newcomers and veterans of the series. Fortunately, there are plenty of Monster Hunter Rise weapons to test out. Even better, you can test them out in the Monster Hunter Rise training area. But if you’re only interested in finding out whether Master Rank is coming, we have good news for you.
Monster Hunter Rise Master Rank release date
Master Rank isn’t available at launch with Monster Hunter Rise on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S or PS5 and PS4 but will be available with the Sunbreak expansion in Spring 2023. Players on the Nintendo Switch and PC also had to wait until Sunbreak’s release to take on Master Rank, so it’s only fair we wait too.
Fortunately, that gives you time to start using and playing with the Monster Hunter Rise best weapon, before the Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak Xbox and PlayStation release date arrives. You do need to purchase the expansion to access the highest rank quests.
