Dead Island 2 might be delayed again, but that doesn’t mean we won’t be able to see the gory goodness it’ll be offering before launch — the Dead Island 2 showcase will be giving us a look at the upcoming slasher next month.
Surprisingly, or unsurprisingly, Deep Silver announced last week that Dead Island 2 has been delayed yet again, pushing the game’s launch on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One to April 28th, 2023. We’ll get a better look at it ahead of then, however, as the Dead Island 2 showcase is being held on December 6.
Dead Island 2 showcase details
Deep Silver has announced that it’ll be “rolling out the bloody red carpet” for its Dead Island 2 showcase on December 6th at 8pm UTC. You can catch the showcase on the Dead Island YouTube channel and Deep Silver’s Twitch channel. The company isn’t giving away any hints about what we might see, but you can safely assume that they’ll be plenty of zombie-slaying action and gore.
After our Dead Island 2 hands-on earlier this year, we’re certainly excited to see what the team will be cooking up for us on December 6th. We already know that it’ll be heralding a rebirth of the franchise, so it’ll be interesting to see what else Dead Island 2 will be offering us in terms of new additions.
If you’re in the mood for some zombie action ahead of Dead Island 2’s launch, we’ve put together a list of titles we think are some of the best Xbox zombie games.
