Over the weekend, teams battled it out in Apex Legends and Fortnite for bragging rights and cash prizes. Viewers were able to watch in person at the event itself or through various Twitch watch parties. Additionally, the JBL Quantum Grant made its return to help jump-start the careers of female esports enthusiasts. Overall, a great event that hopefully returns for the fourth time next year. GGs were had by all over the weekend, as gamers went head-to-head during the third annual JBL Quantum Cup, competing in two of the biggest Battle Royale games: Fortnite and Apex Legends.
Fans, viewers and consumers around the world tuned in to follow their favorite competitors through live watch parties with JBL Ambassadors and 100 Thieves members, BrookeAB and NiceWigg as well as live streamed for in-person attendees at DreamHack Valencia.
It didn’t stop there – JBL and 1,000 Dreams Fund teamed up for the second year to help amplify the voice of women in esports to help jumpstart their careers through the JBL Quantum Grant.
Extended through December 16, 2022, the 1,000 Dreams Fund x JBL Changemakers challenge will offer 25 winners a $1,500 grant to put towards their dreams in gaming and a JBL Quantum gaming headset.
Fortnite North America – $30,000 cash pool prize
–On Day 1 Top Fortnite player @Clixhimself was down but @BuckeFPS held his ground during Saturday’s NA Fortnite tournament (Clip)

–On Day 2 Team Optic starts strong during Match 1 of the NA Apex Legends tournament (Clip)

–It all came down to the wire in Match 6 of the Apex Legends Finals, Team SZN sweeps the field but Optic Gaming takes home the trophy
