Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige has confirmed that his company is returning to Hall H at San Diego Comic-Con next month after a several-year absence. Hulu has cancelled its comedy “Woke” after two seasons and sixteen episodes. Lamorne Morris starred as a Black cartoonist on the verge of mainstream success when an unexpected incident changed everything. The Fablemans
Steven Spielberg’s semi-autobiographical film “The Fabelmans” is coming early, the film set to open exclusively in Los Angeles and New York on Friday, November 11th after which it will expand to a November 23rd wide release. Michelle Williams, Seth Rogen, Paul Dano, Gabriel LaBelle, Judd Hirsch, Sam Rechner, and Oakes Fegley star. [Source: Twitter]
Thieves Gambit
Lionsgate has won a bidding war for the film rights to Kayvion Lewis’ young upcoming adult thriller novel “Thieves’ Gambit” and have attached Steven Caple Jr. (“Creed II”) to direct.
The story follows a young female expert thief who must enter a dangerous, cutthroat competition that pits her against other young, talented thieves where the winner takes all. Christina Hodson and Morgan Howell will produce. [Source: Lionsgate]
