Square Enix and FuturLab have announced an official collaboration with Games Workshop to bring their iconic Warhammer 40,000 franchise to PowerWash Simulator.
Available on all major platforms, the Warhammer 40,000 update for PowerWash Simulator is to set to arrive later this year, with no official release window at this time. A teaser for the collaboration has been released by the developers to commemorate the announcement.
PowerWash Simulator Warhammer 40,000 Update
The Warhammer 40,000 update will be the next major update for PowerWash Simulator. Blending the grimdark world of Warhammer with the world of PowerWash Simulator, the update will allow players to clean up grime and dirt in a world of endless war, bloodshed, and destruction.
The official description of the collaboration reads:
Clean up the Grim Darkness of the Far Future when Warhammer 40,000 comes to PowerWash Simulator. As humanity stands at the edge of what could be its darkest age, could you wash away the grime to reveal a brighter future?
PowerWash Simulator has held other collaborations in the past like Tomb Raider and Square Enix’s own Final Fantasy franchise via DLC packages. The Warhammer 40,000 update will likely be added as DLC as well, possibly as free-to-play, though nothing is confirmed at this point in time.

The game has recently surpassed over 7 million players worldwide, with steady growth since July 2022. The new update is expected to continue this upward trend.
PowerWash Simulator is currently available on all major platforms, including Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via Steam and the Microsoft Store. Players will be able to download the new update for PowerWash Simulator sometime later this year.
