Square Enix has announced that their latest HD 2D turn-based JRPG developed by Team Asano, Octopath Traveler II, is now available worldwide on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.
Throughout this ambitious sequel, players control eight main characters who all face their own unique plights in different parts of Solistia. Further, they all boast unique Jobs, abilities, and even specific stories where duos of the cast interact with each other far more. This feature was implemented following feedback from the first entry. Regarding gameplay specifics, every party member now has two Path Actions, changed depending on the time of day, adding further character variety and strategy to consider when on the road and in towns.
