Neil Druckmann revealed that his next project at Naughty Dog will have a unique structure than any other game from the developer.
In an interview with Forbes about the upcoming HBO adaptation of The Last of Us, Druckmann revealed he got a different approach to his latest project. The creator of The Last of Us described it as a simple reality with a cartoon less simple than a game. What this means is no longer a drama – but a story on how to write it it is simply different. Druckmann revealed that, instead of writing on his own or with a partner, he’s taking a lot of space for writing for TV show shows.
Of course there’s still no way to talk to the team that Druckmann has been tied to in Naughty Dog. An October report showed that a famed developer is working a part of the beloved franchise. Sony has posted a list of players, who could help develop new games in addition to Naughty Dog in an unannounced project.
In December, a new rumor came about saying Naughty Dogs will be the Last of Us Part III, whose next game was Druckmann’s direction. If true, this would be one of three games currently in development at Naughty Dog: a PC port of Last of Us and a standalone multiplayer spin-off of the Factions 2.
