Inti Creates, the developer behind Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon, has announced that its new game, Grim Guardians: Demon Purge, is launching in February.
Described as a 2D sidescrolling action game, Grim Guardians: Demon Purge looks to pull inspiration from classic Castlevania games in its newest trailer. You play as demon hunting sisters, Shinobu and Maya, who have to fight their way through a demon-infested castle in order to save their school.
Players can take control of both characters, utilising their unique movesets, before taking on the demonic bosses that reside in the castle. Defeating a boss will grant players a new weapon, opening up new routes in the castle. There’s also a two-player co-op mode, with each player controlling one of the sisters.
You can see some new gameplay in the latest trailer for the game down below. Grim Guardians: Demon Purge is launching on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC on 23rd February 2023.
