Ubisoft and developer Ubisoft Montreal released an update for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of Far Cry 5 that let the game run at 60 frames per second when played on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series consoles.
Additionally, Xbox users can play Far Cry at an enhanced resolution. Xbox X is capable of running the game at 4K, while Xbox X will run it at 1080p.
Since this isn’t native PlayStation 5 re-release of Far Cry 5 the PlayStation 4 version still runs at 1620p when the game is occupied with the PlayStation 5.
Far Cry 5 is now available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, and Luna. It’s available as well via PlayStation Plus Extra and Xbox Game Pass.
