EA has revealed that it has four titles due for release in early 2023 that have “not yet been publicly disclosed” in its most recent earnings report.
The four unannounced titles are currently due to launch in Q4 of the financial year, meaning they could release at any time between 1st January 2023 and 31st March 2023. Among them are an unannounced sports title, a “partner title”, and major IP, and a remake.
The remake would at first seem to line up with the upcoming Dead Space remake, which currently has an “early 2023” release date. But both Dead Space and its release window are public knowledge, which would seemingly exclude it from consideration here. In that case, this upcoming remake is a mystery. Perhaps it could be one of the Dragon Age games, or a fan-favourite like Burnout 3: Takedown? Maybe even something a bit more niche, like Command & Conquer?
Outside of the remake, the Major IP and Partner Title are the other two interesting games here. One of them could perhaps be the Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order sequel, which has been officially confirmed, and is reported to be releasing in 2023, which EA has yet to make official. Of course, Dragon Age 4 is also a possibility, although it seems unlikely to release until later in 2023. They could even try giving the Medal of Honor series another shot, maybe?
Whatever these games are, with their release less than a year away, we’re sure we won’t have to wait all too long to find out. Let us know what remakes or new games you’d like to see EA release in the comments down below.
