Bright Memory: Infinite Gets New Third-Person Mode & Bunny Skins

Many aren’t comfortable with first-person gameplay, while others prefer to enjoy watching characters in action on the screen. Bright Memory: Infinite developer FYQD-Studio took these needs into consideration and patched the game today.

First of all, we get the new “Perspective-assist mode,” which is now an option in the game’s settings. This will display the heroine’s model on the screen in third-person, but only while moving and firing a gun without aiming. Aiming down sights, using skills, melee combat, grappling, and defense are still in first-person, with the camera view switching dynamically.

This also means that you’ll be able to take a much better look at the costumes available for the game, including two new ones, Cyber Rabbit and Rabbit School Uniform. For now, these are available only for the PC version of the game and celebrate the Lunar New Year. They’re priced at $0.99 each.

Another addition, also available only in the PC version, a Toon Rendering Mode gives Sheila a more anime-like look, while the tiger doill in the car chase mission has also been switched to a rabbit doll.

You can check out the new features in the trailer below.

The update also brings a bunch of optimizations and fixes to make the game smoother and more enjoyable to play.

Bright Memory: Infinite is a super-fast hybrid between a first (and now third, I suppose) person shooter and an action game, sporting advanced visuals and explosive combat. It’s currently available for PC, Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and Nintendo Switch.
