Later this week on 6th November, Halo 4 turns 10 years old. Yes, it’s now been a decade since 343 Industries released its first original game about Master Chief and Cortana.
So, has 343 got anything planned? Well, at least one individual does… As noted by 343’s Halo community writer Alex Wakeford (via social media), there are a “few things” in the works to make this milestone a special occasion, and he “can’t wait to share them”:
If you’re in need of a quick refresher – Halo 4 takes place almost five years after the events of the third game, where Master Chief and Cortana find themselves on a Forerunner Shield World facing off against a new enemy called the Prometheans.
Halo 4 originally arrived on Xbox 360 in 2012 and was re-released in Halo: The Master Chief Collection in 2014. It was then followed up with Halo 5: Guardians on the Xbox One in 2015.
