A Far Cry 6 expansion and ‘Game of the Year’ edition have seemingly leaked

An upcoming Far Cry 6 expansion has seemingly leaked.

The unannounced expansion, which is reportedly called ‘Lost Between Worlds’, looks set to be bundled with previously released Far Cry 6 DLC in a new ‘Game of the Year’ edition.

That’s according to Aggiornamenti Lumia, who regularly reports on listings that are added to the Xbox and Windows stores before they’re made public.

Since its release last October, Far Cry 6 has added new Special Operations and free crossover missions featuring Danny Trejo, Rambo and Stranger Things.

It’s also added three major DLC episodes as part of its Season Pass – Vaas: Insanity, Pagan: Control and Joseph: Collapse.

VGC’s 2/5-star Far Cry 6 review criticised the latest entry in the long-running series for sticking too closely to a tried and tested formula.

Our critic wrote: “If you’re interested in another Far Cry game that does the Far Cry stuff the way it’s been doing it for 10 years, you’ll probably have a good time, but if you’ve already hit your limit with this kind of game, Far Cry 6 is the ne plus ultra of why open-world game design is so badly in need of a revolution.”

Far Cry 7 could shake-up the series with a greater focus on online play, it has been claimed.
